In Chapter VI of Part V of the [1985 c. 6.] Companies Act 1985 (financial assistance by company for purchase of its own shares), in section 153 (transactions not prohibited), for subsection (4)(b) (provision of money in accordance with employees' share scheme) substitute—
“(b)the provision by a company, in good faith in the interests of the company, of financial assistance for the purposes of an employees' share scheme,”.
