116 Power to give effect to international obligations.E+W
[F1(1)] Each of the Ministers shall have power by regulations to provide that the provisions of this Part or of any other enactment relating to the carrying out by the [F2appropriate agency] of such of its functions as relate to fisheries shall have effect with such modifications as may be prescribed by the regulations for the purpose of enabling Her Majesty’s Government in the United Kingdom to give effect—
(a)to any [F3EU] obligations; or
(b)to any international agreement to which the United Kingdom is for the time being a party.
(2)In subsection (1), the reference to functions includes any functions conferred on the [F2appropriate agency] by virtue of the Marine and Coastal Access Act 2009.
