[F1 121F Supply to Inland Revenue for purposes of contributions etc. of information held by Secretary of State U.K.

[F2 (1) This section applies to information which is held for the purposes of functions relating to F3 ... war pensions F3 ...—

(a) by the Secretary of State, or

(b) by a person providing services to the Secretary of State, in connection with the provision of those services.

(1A) This section also applies to information which is held for the purposes of functions relating to F4 ... child support, war pensions F4 ...—

(a) by the Northern Ireland Department, or

(b) by a person providing services to that Department, in connection with the provision of those services.]

(2) Information to which this section applies may, and F5 ... must if an officer of the Inland Revenue authorised by the Inland Revenue for the purposes of this section so requires, be supplied—

(a) to the Inland Revenue, or

(b) to a person providing services to the Inland Revenue,

for use for the purposes of functions relating to contributions, [F6 health in pregnancy grant,] F7 ... statutory sick pay or statutory maternity pay [F8 or functions under Part III of the Pensions Act.]
