[F1The following provisions shall be construed as if the references to a person entitled to receive a guaranteed minimum pension included references to a person so entitled by virtue of being the widower of an earner only in such cases as may be prescribed—
(a)section 50(1)(a)(ii);
(b)section 52(2); and
(c)section 55(1)(b);
and the references to a widow in section 58(1) and (2) shall be construed as including references to a widower and the reference in section 142(5) to guaranteed minimum pensions as including a reference to the guaranteed minimum pension of a widower only in those cases.]
