10E+WFor the purposes of section 117 of the 1972 Act (disclosure by officers of interests in contracts), any contract which—
(a)was entered into by an old authority, and
(b)to which any of the new principal councils becomes a party by virtue of this Act,
shall be treated as a contract entered into by the new principal council.
