SCHEDULE 2 U.K. Consequential Amendments

The Social Security Administration Act 1992 (c.5) U.K.

[F1 42 (1) Section 20 of the Administration Act (claims and questions to be submitted to adjudication officer) is amended as follows. E+W+S

(2) In subsection (1), omit “and" at the end of paragraph (b) and after paragraph (c) insert— “; and

(d) any question whether a jobseeker’s allowance is not payable to a person by virtue of section 19 of the Jobseekers Act 1995.”

(3) In subsection (2), after “which", insert— “ —

(a) may be determined by an adjudication officer under section 9(6) or 10(5) of the Jobseekers Act 1995; or

(b)”.

(4) In subsection (6), after paragraph (a) insert—

“(aa) a jobseeker’s allowance;”].
