Greater London Authority Act 1999, Cross Heading: The Local Government (Records) Act 1962 is up to date with all changes known to be in force on or before 10 March 2025. 17(1)The M1Local Government (Records) Act 1962 shall be amended as follows.U.K.
(2)In section 2 (acquisition and deposit of records) in subsection (6) (local authorities to which the section applies) after “section 3 of the M2Police Act 1996,” there shall be inserted “ the Metropolitan Police Authority, ”.
(3)In section 8 (interpretation) in the definition of “local authority” after “section 3 of the M3Police Act 1996,” there shall be inserted “ the Metropolitan Police Authority, ”.
