38 Guidance.E+W
(1)A local authority [F1, an elected mayor or an executive leader] must have regard to any guidance for the time being issued by the [F2Welsh Ministers] for the purposes of this Part.
[F3(1A)The guidance may, among other things, include provision designed to encourage good practice in relation to equality and diversity (within the meaning of section 8(2) of the Equality Act 2006).]
(2)Guidance under this section may make different provision for different cases or descriptions of local authority.
