38 U.K. In section 23 of the Children and Young Persons Act 1969 (remands and committals to local authority accommodation), in subsection (12), in the definition of “sexual offence” and “violent offence”, for “Part I of the Criminal Justice Act 1991” there shall be substituted “ the Powers of Criminal Courts (Sentencing) Act 2000 ”.
