In this Chapter—

  • allocation guidelines” has the meaning given by section 170(1)(b);

  • the Council” means the Sentencing Guidelines Council;

  • the Panel” means the Sentencing Advisory Panel;

  • “sentence” and “sentencing” are to be read in accordance with section 142(3);

  • sentencing guidelines” has the meaning given by section 170(1)(a);

  • [F2youth rehabilitation order” has the meaning given by section 1(1) of the Criminal Justice and Immigration Act 2008;

  • youth rehabilitation order with intensive supervision and surveillance” has the meaning given by paragraph 3 of Schedule 1 to that Act. ]
