(1)The applicant must supply the [F2Secretary of State] with such information in relation to the proposed application as the applicant would supply to the [F2Secretary of State] for the purpose of complying with section 42 if the applicant were required by that section to consult the [F2Secretary of State] about the proposed application.
(2)The applicant must comply with subsection (1) on or before commencing consultation under section 42.
