Immigration and Asylum Act 1999 (c. 33) U.K.

2 (1) Section 144 of the Immigration and Asylum Act 1999 (provision for collecting physical data other than fingerprints) is amended as follows. U.K.

(2) In subsection (1), for “data about external physical characteristics” substitute “ biometric information ”.

(3) For subsection (2) substitute—

“(2) Biometric information” has the meaning given by section 15 of the UK Borders Act 2007.”
