41 (1) Section 10 (continuation of North-South co-operation and the prevention of new border arrangements) is amended as follows. U.K.

(2) In the heading—

(a) for “Continuation of” substitute “ Protection for ”, and

(b) omit “the”.

(3) In subsection (2)—

(a) omit “, 9”, and

(b) in paragraph (a) omit “(as defined by section 98 of the Northern Ireland Act 1998)”.
