SCHEDULE E+W+S Bodies to which this Act Applies

1 The bodies to which in England and Wales this Act applies are—

[F1 (a) parish or community councils, the Council of the Isles of Scilly and joint boards or joint committees which discharge functions of any of those bodies (or of any of those bodies and of a principal council, within the meaning of the Local Government Act M1 1972, or a body falling within paragraph (a), (b) or (c) of section 100J(1) of that Act)]

[F15 (i) regional and local flood defence committees;

(j) advisory committees established and maintained under [F16 section 12 or 13 of the Environment Act 1995];

(k) customer service committees [F17 maintained under section 28 of the Water Industry Act 1991].]
