31 False alarms of fire.E+W+S
(1)Any person who knowingly gives or causes to be given a false alarm of fire to any fire brigade maintained in pursuance of this Act or to any member of such a brigade shall be liable on summary conviction to a fine not exceeding [F1level 4 on the standard scale] or to imprisonment for a term not exceeding three months or both such fine and such imprisonment.
