Introductory E+W

5.1.—(1) The Rules in this Part apply where a debtor, with a view to an application for an interim order under Part VIII of the Act, makes a proposal to his creditors for a voluntary arrangement, that is to say, a composition in satisfaction of his debts or a scheme of arrangement of his affairs. E+W

(2) The Rules apply whether the debtor is an undischarged bankrupt (“Case 1”), or he is not (“Case 2”).
