2.—(1) At the end of paragraph (1) of regulation 5 of the EuropeanParliamentary Elections Regulations 1986((1)) (application of certainprovisions for the purposes of European Parliamentary elections) thereshall be added the following:
“The entry in that Schedule in respect of section 6 of the Act of 1985is to that provision as amended by section 1 of the Representation ofthe People Act 1990.”.
(2) In the left-hand column of Part I of Schedule 2 to the EuropeanParliamentary Elections Regulations 1986 (application with modificationsof the Representation of the People Regulations 1986(2)) there shall be inserted, after the entry in respect ofregulation 63, the following entry:
“Regulation 63A (additional requirement for applicant no longerresident at qualifying address)(3)”.
(3) In the left-hand column of Part II of Schedule 2 to the EuropeanParliamentary Elections Regulations 1986 (application with modificationsof the Representation of the People (Scotland) Regulations 1986(4)) there shall be inserted, after the entry in respect ofregulation 61, the following entry:
“Regulation 61A (additional requirement for applicant no longerresident at qualifying address)(5)”.
