The Lord Chancellor, in exercise of the powers conferred on him by by section 76(1) of the Administration of Justice Act 1982(1), hereby makes the following Order:
1. This Order may be cited as the Administration of Justice Act 1982 (Commencement No. 7) Order 1991.
2. Paragraph 10 of Schedule 6 to the Administration of Justice Act 1982 shall come into force on 1st September 1991.

This Order brings paragraph 10 of Schedule 6 to the Administration of Justice Act 1982 into force on 1st September 1991. Paragraph 10 provides for the award of provisional damages for personal injuries in Northern Ireland. By virtue of section 73(2) of the 1982 Act it applies to actions whenever commenced, including actions commenced before the passing of the Act.
