In pursuance of sections 18(1)(f) and 24(2) of the Lotteries and Amusements Act 1976(1) I hereby make the following Order:

1.—(1) This Order may be cited as the Amusements with Prizes (Variation of Fees) Order 1991 and shall come into force on 2nd December 1991.

(2) This Order shall not extend to Scotland.

2.  The fee payable under paragraph 18 of Schedule 3 to the Lotteries and Amusements Act 1976(2) (which relates to permits for the commercial provision of amusements with prizes) shall, instead of £25, be £32.

3.  The Amusements with Prizes (Variation of Fees) Order 1988(3) is hereby revoked.

Explanatory Note

(This note is not part of the Order)

This Order increases from £25 to £32 the fee payable in England and Wales to a local authority or other appropriate authority on the grant or renewal of a permit for amusements with prizes provided under section 16 of the Lotteries and Amusements Act 1976.
