Amendment of regulation 1A of the principal Regulations

2.  In paragraph (i) of regulation 1A of the principal Regulations (prescribed description of persons to whom payments for meeting expenses for heating in cold weather may be made)(1), after the word “Regulations” there shall be added the words “, but does not include the allowance specified in paragraph 2A of that Schedule (residential allowances)(2)”.

Regulation 1A was inserted in the principal Regulations by S.I. 1991/2448.

The Regulations to which regulation 1A of the principal Regulations refers are the Income Support (General) Regulations 1987 (S.I. 1987/1967). Paragraph 2A of Schedule 2 to those Regulations was inserted by S.I. 1992/3147.
