40.—(1) (a) On registering a ship the Registrar shall retain in his possession a copy of any builder’s certificate or bill of sale or other evidence of title produced on first registration, any certificate of measurement or survey, and all declarations of eligibility.
(b)On a fishing vessel changing from simple registration to full registration the Registrar shall retain in his possession a copy of the evidence adduced for that change F1....
