Electoral Division 8: Montrose South

Commencing at grid reference NO 7055 4807 on the eastern boundary of Tayside Region, Angus District and ED 4 (Arbroath East); then westward along the said ED boundary to and northwestward along the eastern boundary of ED 3 (Arbroath North and Central Angus) to the River South Esk; then eastward along the said river to grid reference NO 6756 5770 at its confluence in the Montrose Basin, east of the Lurgies; then eastward in a straight line to Mean High Water Springs in Montrose Basin; then generally northeastward, eastward and southward along the said boundary to a point in line with Lower Hall Street, Montrose; then eastward in a straight line to and along the said street to and across Murray Street to Upper Hall Street; then northeastward along the said street to and northwestward along Market Street to Queen Street; then northeastward along the said street to and northeastward along Mill Street to and southeastward along Reform Street and across Mid Links to Eastern Road; then northeastward to and southeastward along Dorward Road across Whinfield Road to Traill Drive; then continuing southeastward in a straight line along Traill Drive and across the North Links Golf Course to grid reference NO 7294 5820 on MLWS at the eastern boundary of Tayside Region and Angus District; then southwestward along the said boundary to the point of commencement.
