2.—(1) These Regulations, subject to the modifications described in this Schedule, apply to members who are or have been practitioners as if they were officers employed by the relevant [F1Health Authority] [F2or Primary Care Trust] [F3or, in the case of a locum practitioner, the listing Authority F4...] and, except where the context otherwise requires, references to an employing authority shall, in relation to a practitioner, be taken as a reference to the relevant [F1Health Authority] [F2or Primary Care Trust] [F3or, in the case of a locum practitioner, the listing Authority F4...].
