Automatic Back-dating of Jobseeker’s Agreement

35.  Where a jobseeker’s agreement is signed on a date later than the date of claim and there is no reference of that agreement to [F1 the Secretary of State] under section 9(6), the agreement shall be treated as having effect on the date of claim.
