2. 10th November 1999 is the appointed day for the coming into force of the following provisions of the Competition Act 1998:
(a)in Schedule 12 (minor and consequential amendments) paragraphs 1(3)(a), (b) and (d);
(b)in Schedule 13 (transitional provisions and savings) paragraphs 40 and 41; and
(c)in Part I of Schedule 14 (repeals and revocations) the entries relating to sections 10(2) and 54(5) of, and paragraphs 3(1) and (2) of Schedule 8 to, the Fair Trading Act 1973(1).
