The Treasury, in exercise of the powers conferred on them by section 9 of the Treasury Bills Act 1877(1), section 5 of the National Debt Act 1889(2) and of all other powers enabling them in that behalf, hereby make the following Regulations:–

(1)

1877 c. 2; section 9 was amended by Part XII of Schedule 1 to the Statute Law (Repeals) Act 1986 (c. 12).

(2)

1889 c. 6; section 5 was amended by the Schedule to the Statute Law Revision Act 1908 (c. 49) and the Schedule to the Statute Law Revision Act 1966 (c. 5).
