(This note is not part of the Order)
With the exception of section 3 (restrictions on the provision of air traffic services), this Order brings into force on 1st April 2001 all the remaining provisions of Part I of the Transport Act 2000. These comprise sections—
36 (Land) with Schedule 4,
37 (Licence holders as statutory undertakers) with Schedule 5, and
97 (Amendments) with Schedule 8, to the extent it is not already in force.
Also on 1st April 2001 section 274 (Repeals and revocations) insofar as it relates to Part I of Schedule 31 (Air traffic) is brought into force.
