Designation as a public body
2. East Leake Schools Limited(1), being a person appearing to the Secretary of State to be exercising a function of a public nature, shall be a public body for the purposes of the Local Authorities (Goods and Services) Act 1970, in its application to England(2).
East Leake Schools Limited was incorporated as a private company limited by shares on 30th July 2001 and is registered under company number 4261326.
The Secretary of State’s functions under the Local Authorities (Goods and Services) Act 1970, so far as exercisable in relation to Wales, are transferred to the National Assembly for Wales, see article 2 and Schedule 1 to the National Assembly for Wales (Transfer of Functions) Order 1999 (S.I. 1999/672), to which there are amendments not relevant to this Order.
