72. [F2The Board] may serve notice in writing on the contractor terminating the contract forthwith or with effect from such date as may be specified in the notice if—
(a)the contractor has breached the contract and as a result of that breach, the safety of the contractor's patients is at serious risk if the contract is not terminated; or
(b)the contractor's financial situation is such that [F2the Board] considers that [F2the Board] is at risk of material financial loss.
