The Treasury make the following Order in exercise of the powers conferred on them by section 21(5) and (6) of the Financial Services and Markets Act 2000(1):
1. This Order may be cited as the Financial Services and Markets Act 2000 (Financial Promotion) (Amendment) Order 2007 and comes into force on 20th April 2007.
2. For Part 2 of Schedule 3 to the Financial Services and Markets Act 2000 (Financial Promotion) Order 2005(2) (certain investment exchanges operating relevant EEA markets) substitute—

This Order amends Part 2 of Schedule 3 to the Financial Services and Markets Act 2000 (Financial Promotion) Order 2005 (S.I. 2005/1529) (“the 2005 Order”) to update the list of investment exchanges operating relevant EEA Markets. An investment exchange specified in Part 2 of Schedule 3 is a “relevant market” for the purposes of articles 37, 41, 67 and 69 of the 2005 Order and a “relevant EEA market” for the purpose of article 68 of the 2005 Order.
S.I. 2005/1529, to which there are amendments not relevant to this Order.
