The competent authority and the enforcement authority U.K.

3.—(1) The competent authorities for the purposes of [F1 Regulation (EU) 2019/1021] are—

(a) in England F2 ..., the Environment Agency;

[F3 (aa) in Wales, the Natural Resources Body for Wales;]

(b) in Northern Ireland, the Department of [F4 Agriculture, Environment and Rural Affairs]; and

(c) in Scotland, the Scottish Environment Protection Agency.

(2) They are also the enforcement authorities for the purposes of these Regulations.
