SECTION 5 U.K. Local (consumer safety) authorities

5.  In respect of— U.K.

(a) a local (consumer safety) authority in Great Britain, an authorisation made under section 72 of the Weights and Measures Act 1985(1)(appointment of inspectors);

(b) a local (consumer safety) authority in Northern Ireland, an authorisation made for the purposes of section 27(2) of the Consumer Protection Act 1987(2)(enforcement).
