EXPLANATORY NOTE

This Order implements in part Council Regulation (EC) No 154/2009 (“the Regulation”) which amends Council Regulation (EC) No 1859/2005 (“the Original Regulation”)(1).
The Regulation replaces Annex I of the Original Regulation. Annex I lists equipment which might be used for internal repression.
A full regulatory impact assessment has not been produced for this instrument as it has minimal impact on the costs of business.
