M1 M2 M3 M4 M5 M6 M7 M8 The Family Procedure Rule Committee makes the following rules in exercise of the powers conferred by sections 75 and 76 of the Courts Act 2003 , section 18(1) of the Maintenance Orders (Reciprocal Enforcement) Act 1972 , sections 12 and 48 of the Civil Jurisdiction and Judgments Act 1982 , sections 10 and 24 of the Child Abduction and Custody Act 1985 , section 97(1) of the Children Act 1989 , section 54(1) of the Access to Justice Act 1999 , sections 52(7), 102, 109(2) and 141(1) and (3) of the Adoption and Children Act 2002 , after consulting in accordance with section 79 of the Courts Act 2003 .

These rules may be cited as the Family Procedure Rules 2010 and shall come into force on 6th April 2011.
