This Statutory Instrument has been made in consequence of a defect in SI 2012/1688 and is being issued free of charge to all known recipients of that Statutory Instrument.

The Secretary of State for Work and Pensions makes the following Regulations in exercise of the powers conferred by sections 143(3), (4) and (5), 143A(5), 151(4), 156(1), 185(4)(a), 203(1), 207(1), (2) and (5)(a), 307(1)(b) and (2)(b), 315(2), (4) and (5) and 318(1) of the Pensions Act 2004(1).
By virtue of section 317(2)(b) of that Act these Regulations were not subject to consultation because in this case it appeared to the Secretary of State that by reason of urgency consultation was inexpedient.
