The Treasury are a government department designated for the purposes of section 2(2) of the European Communities Act 1972(1) in relation to matters specified in the Schedule to these Regulations.
The Treasury, in exercise of the powers conferred on them by section 2(2) of the European Communities Act 1972, make the following Regulations.
