The Secretary of State, in exercise of the powers conferred by sections A1(4), 2(2) and (2C) to (2E), 3(1), 5, 11, 20(1), 21(1) and 21B of the Reservoirs Act 1975(1), makes the following Regulations.
1975 c.23. Sections A1, 2(2B) to (2E) and 21B are inserted in relation to England and Wales by the Flood and Water Management Act 2010 (c.29), Schedule 4, paragraphs 2, 4 and 33 (see S.I. 2011/2204 (C.80), article 3(1)(e) and S.I. 2013/1590 (C.64), article 3 for relevant commencement provisions). Sections 5, 11, 20 and 21 are amended in relation to England and Wales by the Flood and Water Management Act 2010, Schedule 4, paragraphs 5, 16 to 18, 23, 26, 28, 31 and 38 (see S.I. 2011/2204, article 3(1)(f) (C.80) and S.I. 2013/1590 (C.64), article 3 for relevant commencement provisions). Sections 2, 3, 20 and 21 are amended by the Water Act 2003 (c.37), sections 74 and 78 (see S.I. 2004/2528 (C.106), article 2(k) and (n) for relevant commencement provisions).
