14. An application for advice and assistance for criminal proceedings must be made—
(a)in accordance with the requirements of the [F12022 Standard Crime Contract] for the Unit of Work which is the subject of the application; and
(b)in a form specified by the Lord Chancellor, in circumstances where the [F12022 Standard Crime Contract] requires an application form to be completed.
