The Secretary of State makes the following Order in exercise of the powers conferred by section 103(3) and (4) of the Enterprise and Regulatory Reform Act 2013(1).

1.  This Order may be cited as the Enterprise and Regulatory Reform Act 2013 (Commencement No. 4 and Saving Provision) (Amendment) Order 2014.

Amendments of the Enterprise and Regulatory Reform Act 2013 (Commencement No. 4 and Saving Provision) Order 2013U.K.

2.  The Enterprise and Regulatory Reform Act 2013 (Commencement No. 4 and Saving Provision) Order 2013(2) is amended as follows—

(a)in article 3 (provisions coming into force on 31st March 2014)—

(i)omit “sections 13 and 14 of, and”,

(ii)after “Schedule 1 to” omit the comma;

(b)after article 3 insert—

Provisions coming into force on 30th September 2014

3A.  Section 72(4) of, and paragraph 2 of Schedule 20 to, the Enterprise and Regulatory Reform Act 2013 so far as relating to sections 13 and 14 of the Agricultural Wages Act 1948 come into force in relation to England on 30th September 2014..

EXPLANATORY NOTE

(This note is not part of the Order)

This Order amends the Enterprise and Regulatory Reform Act 2013 (Commencement No. 4 and Saving Provision) Order 2013 (S.I. 2013/2979 (C. 122)).

Article 2 amends the provision which was to bring into force on 31st March 2014 in relation to England the repeal of provisions in the Agricultural Wages Act 1948 (c. 47 (11 &12 Geo 6)) relating to the laying of annual reports to Parliament and expenses of or authorised by the Minister. The effect of this amendment is to defer this repeal until 30th September 2014 except in relation to the provision for payment of members of the Agricultural Wages Board which is unaffected by this amendment.
