The Secretary of State may, on behalf of the Government, and in accordance with section 11 of the Act, make payment of an initial capital contribution not exceeding the equivalent in pounds sterling at the time of the payment of USD 3,054,700,000 as required by the Articles 5 and 58 of, and Schedule A to the Articles of Agreement of the Bank.
