EXPLANATORY NOTE
(This note is not part of the Order)
Article 2 of this Order amends the Cattle Compensation (England) Order (S.I. 2012/1379) to replace a reference to the Tuberculosis (England) Order 2007 (S.I. 2007/740) with a reference to the Tuberculosis (England) Order 2014 (S.I. 2014/2383) (“the 2014 Order”).
Article 3 amends article 9 of the 2014 Order to narrow the scope for exemption from a pre-movement test so that bovine animals in a herd subject to routine tuberculosis testing more frequently than biennially are subject to skin tests before they are moved off the premises.
A full impact assessment has not been produced for this Order as no impact on the private or voluntary sectors is foreseen.
Functions conferred under this Act on the Minister of Agriculture, Fisheries and Food were transferred to the Secretary of State by the Ministry of Agriculture, Fisheries and Food (Dissolution) Order 2002 (S.I. 2002/794), article 2.
