SCHEDULE 1 Amendments to the Marriage (Scotland) Act 1977

8.  In section 26(2) (interpretation)—

(a) before the definition of “annulment” insert—

““2014 Act” means the Immigration Act 2014(1);”;

(b) after the definition of “religious or belief marriage”(2) insert—

““relevant national” means—

(a)

a British citizen,

(b)

a national of an EEA State other than the United Kingdom, or

(c)

a national of Switzerland;”.
