Amendment of the Transfer of State Pensions and Benefits Regulations 2007

28.—(1) The Transfer of State Pensions and Benefits Regulations 2007(1) are amended as follows.

(2) In regulation 1(2) (interpretation)(2) in the definition of “relevant benefit”, after paragraph (ba) insert—

“(bb) bereavement support payment under section 30 of the Pensions Act 2014 or section 29 of the Pensions Act (Northern Ireland) 2015(3);”.

(3) In regulation 8(3) (effect of making a cash equivalent transfer payment)(4), after “Part 1” in both places it occurs insert “or Part 5”.
