The Secretary of State makes the following Regulations in exercise of the powers conferred by sections 2(2)(d) and 57(1), (7) and (8) of the Goods Vehicles (Licensing of Operators) Act 1995(1) and section 47(5) of the Road Traffic Act 1988(2).
The Secretary of State has consulted with such representative organisations as thought fit in accordance with section 57(12) of the Goods Vehicles (Licensing of Operators) Act 1995 and section 195(2) of the Road Traffic Act 1988.
