The Ionising Radiation (Basic Safety Standards) (Miscellaneous Provisions) Regulations 2018

3.  In this Part, “ appropriate minister” means—

(a) in relation to a function so far as exercisable within devolved competence within the meaning of the Scotland Act 1998 M1 , the Scottish Ministers;

(b) in relation to a function so far as exercisable within devolved competence within the meaning of the Government of Wales Act 2006 M2 , the Welsh Ministers;

(c) in relation to a function so far as it deals with a transferred matter within the meaning of the Northern Ireland Act 1998 M3 , a Northern Ireland department;

(d) otherwise, the Secretary of State.
