5.—(1) The Financial Services and Markets Act 2000 is amended as follows.
(2) In section 284A (transformer vehicles) M1, in subsection (9), omit “an EU instrument and”.
(3) In section 316 (direction by a regulator) M2, in subsection (4), omit paragraph (b).
