Part 1 E+W Introduction

Citation, commencement, extent and interpretation E+W

1.—(1) These Regulations may be cited as the Family Procedure Rules 2010 and Court of Protection Rules 2017 (Amendment) (EU Exit) Regulations 2019 and come into force on exit day.

(2) These Regulations extend to England and Wales.

(3) A reference in these Regulations to a rule or Part by number alone—

(a) in Part 2 of these Regulations is a reference to the rule or Part so numbered in the Family Procedure Rules 2010 M1 ; and

(b) in Part 3 of these Regulations is a reference to the rule or Part so numbered in the Court of Protection Rules 2017 M2 .

Commencement Information

I1 Reg. 1 in force at 31.12.2020 on IP completion day (in accordance with 2020 c. 1, Sch. 5 para. 1(1)), see reg. 1(1)
