Amendment of Article 3 of Commission Regulation (EU) No 139/2014U.K.
409.—(1) Article 3 (oversight of aerodromes) is amended as follows.
(2) In paragraph 1, for the words from the beginning to “responsibilities” substitute “The CAA is responsible”.
(3) In paragraph 2—
(a)in both places the words occur, for “Competent Authority” substitute “CAA”;
(b)omit the words from “Member States shall ensure” to the end.
(4) Omit paragraph 3.
(5) In paragraph 4—
(a)for “Member States” substitute “The CAA”;
(b)for “the Competent Authority(ies) has(ve)” substitute “it has”;
(c)for “their” substitute “its”.
(6) In paragraph 5, for the words from the start to “Competent Authorities’” substitute “The CAA must ensure that its”.
(7) In paragraph 6, for “Competent Authority” substitute “CAA”.
(8) In paragraph 7, for the words from “the national legislation” to the end substitute “any relevant enactment”.
