7.—(1) In Article 55(3)—
(a)for “The EAFRD” substitute “ Support for rural development ”;
(b)omit “and the EIP network referred to in Article 53”.
(2) In Article 56(3), for “Member States” substitute “ relevant authority ”.

The Managing Authority and paying agency must also undertake the assessment of the verifiability and controllability of measures during the implementation of the rural development programme. Assessment during the implementation period must take into account the results of controls in the previous and current programming period. Where the assessment reveals that the requirements of verifiability and controllability are not met, the measures concerned must be adjusted accordingly.”;
