Amendment of Part 4, Chapter 2 (continuing airworthiness)

19.—(1) Regulation 248 (amendment of Subpart C of Section A of Annex 1 to Commission Regulation (EU) No 1321/2014) is amended as follows.

(2) In paragraph (2)—

(a) for “point (5)” substitute “point (f)”;

(b) in sub-paragraph (a), for “point (iii)” substitute “point (3)”;

(c) in sub-paragraph (b), for “point (iv)” substitute “point (4)”.

(3) In paragraph (3)—

(a) in sub-paragraph (b)—

(i) in sub-paragraph (i), for “point (i)” substitute “the second paragraph”;

(ii) in sub-paragraph (ii), for “point (ii)” substitute “the third paragraph”;

(b) in sub-paragraph (c)—

(i) in sub-paragraph (i), for “point (i)” substitute “point (1)”;

(ii) in sub-paragraph (ii), for “point (ii)” substitute “point (2)(i)”;

(c) omit sub-paragraph (d);

(d) for sub-paragraph (e) substitute—

“(e) in point (h), for “competent authority” substitute “CAA”;”;

(4) In paragraph (5), for sub-paragraph (a) substitute—

“(a) in points (c) and (e), in each place the words occur, for “competent authority” substitute “CAA”;”;

(5) Omit paragraph (6).
